Founded by Finn McCartney-Hill, Adventure Conscious brings together professional experience in the energy and sustainability industry, along with academic knowledge and years spent exploring remote and challenging environments.This background allows us to go beyond simply filming a subject — asking better questions, finding the human story within complex ideas, and creating films that communicate with clarity, depth and cinematic impact.Alongside the studio, Finn writes the Adventure Conscious Journal, documenting adventures, people and stories from the field.

Alongside a trusted network of additional crew and creative collaborators, Finn McCartney-Hill is the founder and lead producer at Adventure Conscious.With an academic background in physics and 7+ years of experience in energy and sustainability consulting, Finn has worked across building, organisation and energy-system level decarbonisation from a technical and engineering perspective.This combination of technical understanding and filmmaking helps us get to grips with the detail, ask informed questions and find the story — making complex technologies, research and climate solutions clear, credible and relevant.
